PLEASE TOUCH THE ART
I find a lot of art very inaccessible. Either I can’t understand it, or I’m not fully able to interact with it due to the nature of an “art object” in a gallery space. I am an incredibly tactile person, so if I am unable to feel something, I am less likely to understand it, which is something I try to address in this piece. Cushion, plush, fur, soft, smooth, warm, cold. These are all sensations one cannot observe fully through sight, so I invite people to touch, feel, rub, smell, and interact with this piece however they seem fit.
